with the greatest respect to the guys from pongfinity I feel that with 140 euros you can build a much better racket with more speed and spin but equally their racket is quite good for intermediate players who don't want to risk building a racket. I think the 1 star racket is good for people that doesnt do spinning serves or drives. Me as a table tennis player I would prefer this because I always do flat drive, no top/back spins

According to this, ideally you would want a 2-3 start racket because the 1 star racket almost completely takes away the spin and the 5 star racket almost doesn’t get rid of the spin.

For my on experience, the cheap racket doesn't mean it's bad. Yes, it's less powerful but it's easier to control. I can put more strength on every slashing without worrying the ball fly away and it's easier to make my ball fall on the same position so that my partner could easily catch it back. In short, cheap racket is better for beginner.

would rather you hand these rackets to random people and have them try them out don't tell them anything just ask them which racket they feel is better. When you are testing your own products it is harder to be unbias. You guys do seem to be giving it a fair shot (pun intended) on both rackets but there can also be a little bit of bias especially when doing the cups "Maybe the target shot isn't the best measure for control" implies he should have gotten all 5 and the 1 star should not have gotten a single one. I would still go with the 5 star because it just looks a lot nicer and it does look like higher quality anyways and very likely is the better of the two but it is also a product you guys sell so there will always be a bias in what you say even if it is not intentional.
So it turns out a ping pong racket is just a piece of wood with rubber glued onto it and no way is a $140 racket 28 times better than a $5 one.
