I was robbed 1 year ago this month and they took my phone, bypassed all of my passwords, set their own account on it, and put a pattern lock. I got my phone back from the police, but atm its just a very expensive paper weight. The phone is running android 11 and I was able to do step one where it reads everything outloud, but when I got to the assistant it required the app to be updated, so I did. Now when I say assistant (apparently Google assistant is not a command on this phone) it makes the sound that it heard my command but it doesn't open it. I am stuck.
