The only method to deactivate a Samsung account from a phone without a password is to contact Samsung to locate and delete the account. If you wish to begin the procedure on your Samsung phone, follow the comprehensive instructions below.
- Unlock your phone, then launch the Samsung phone settings app from the app drawer.
- Scroll down until you see "Cloud and Accounts." Also, on the next page, select the "Accounts" tab.
- Then, from the choices, select "Samsung Accounts" and then "My profile." When prompted to enter your email address and password on the account screen, select "Forgot your ID and Password." A popup will appear on the screen; from there, select your preferred browser.
- A prompted browser prompts you to enter your ID and password, as well as your email address. After that, Samsung will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
- Return to your Samsung account settings and select "Remove Account" from the top-right menu bar.

Respect. I never had a twitter i thought is was dumb.
I think ones Elon masks owns Twitter it will be a much better place… only my opinion. Free speech and stuff
sorry, but I agree with the OP points
Quitting Twitter. It’s turned into a place where Christians cannot say anything, without loads of people getting offended.
It’s an energy vampire and hard on emotional health.
YouTube is the only social media platform worth engaging with. Delete everything else.
Could these sound Thomistic arguments against having a Twitter account also be used against YouTube and Facebook?
06:23 "the heart of St. Joseph" love it! #Josephology
Thank you God for showing me this video.
A few months back I deleted my Tumblr account because, even though I made good Catholic connections, at the end of the day it was getting in my way to spend more time with God and to give Him fruits since it became an addiction and was twisting my self image and increasing my dependence on outside validation from others. These last days I kept thinking I should make a new account and this video just showed up.
Thank you, just wanted to witness this and God's Grace. God bless you all
I deleted my account along with you Matt! It feels so free!
I almost signed up for twitter this last week in order to delete it along with Matt!
I deactivated my twitter (and instagram) about 2 months. Never been happier. I can control my base desires better and my prayer life increased as a result.
theres a new matt fradd account tho
The reason I don’t have Twitter is because they allow pornographic content. I don’t trust myself to use the platform appropriately.
For those who want to keep Twitter but are finding it toxic:
Limit yourself to 100-200 follows at most. Follow ONLY those accounts that are useful, uplifting or informative.
Use it as a tool, rather than a social platform. Game changer.
Do you want to reach more people or fewer people?
12:18–13:00 This is the reason why I should delete all of my social media accounts and focus on things outside of my phone.
I agree with what Matt said in the beginning, that these arguments and replies say more about him than the platform and its users in general…
I'm completely fine with Matt leaving twitter, I also don't use this platform (nor Facebook/IG/Parler/TikTok…) However, aside from a a good point about limited message lenght (and because of that – promoted misunderstandings, quick sarcastic remarks, short aggressive statements etc.), I find the rest of these arguments quite weak. They could be applied to any social media, general media or even any activity involving people outside of our "bubble".
This might be a good topic for a deeper discussion – do we, as Christians, have any responsibility to live actively in this world and society, or are we fine and justified by Lord to aim for a life in reclusion, or in a small like-minded community, and try not to be bothered by other people, government, media as long as possible. I don't know what's the answer, I'm thinking about it a lot.
I'm happy for these, who are successful 'content creators' on social media, spreading good values (and preferably show the beaty of Christianity) but I'm sure it requires special talent and it's not a job for everyone.
A really good discussion. I’m keeping it for now because I find it a useful source of information. But I don’t usually post my own thoughts or engage in back and forth with people because that doesn’t work out well. Also Twitter suppresses me anyway so I can’t get any traction so there’s no point in even trying. I still hope that it can be reformed for the sake of the millions who still use it
Musk is apparently purchasing Twitter. Why not wait until you see how successful he is in cleaning it up? Facebook is the worst! Facebook is the cesspool of social media, hands down!
Good on ya
That last video with the Franciscan University priest was funny… You cracked a really bad joke and Frs face was priceless lol
God bless you for shaving your beard for your wife which you mentioned in the video with that guy who likes hunting.
May the Lord guide all catholic ministry as a light to the world.
Oh my goodness I just got on Twitter the past I think 6 months, to post positive comments to those who were at least striving for holiness, and have come to find out it is all those things you have said: anxiety producing, a cesspool, a blather of random comments that have nothing positive… & Def stealing my healthy energy. I really needed to read this I think Matt, thanks.
I left Facebook a while back, and went through a lot of reasoning that you described when I made that decision. The final straw for me was when I realized that my reasoning sounded like I was choosing to break up with an abusive partner. Thought to myself, “that’s just sad,” and pulled the plug. Never regretted it. Fight the power Mr Frad!
True story…before Mother Angelica started EWTN, she and her nuns grew peanuts and had one customer who provided all of the income for their monastery…a local minor league baseball team. A new guy took over concessions at the ballpark and told her she had to pay some stocking or licensing fee. Mother Angelica said, "Call it what you want, but what you are asking for is a kickback. I'm not paying it because when I die I don't want to be refused Heaven because I paid off a guy." Stressful times for the monastery for sure as now they had nothing. I would say things worked out for her and her nuns as they no longer had to toil in that hot and humid southern heat. God built them a beautiful place to live and House to worship God and spread the Eternal Word of God across the globe off of donations and selling religious articles. The nun that used to help Mother Angelica around and turn the pages for her during Vespers when she got older left and started a monastery and is totally devoted to living in the Divine Will of God as dictated to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta.
Youtube is the best because you get instagram, twitter, and facebook all in one place! Yay!
Deleted my account over a year ago!
Good for you Matt. I never had twitter. I have other social media accounts that I need to delete.
I’ve never been a user on Twitter and I won’t join it now. I’ll admit a guilty pleasure of mine is to check what some select commentators say but I won’t join in on the conversations. It’s just not good for me. I probably should block it entirely, viewing it or otherwise
Also, my only “social media” is YouTube. And I’m able to control myself and what I view. I get a lot more good out of it in many ways. But perhaps that will one day change. Only time will tell
Good job Matt! If you can get off Twitter, get off Twitter.
I'm going to delete my Twitter account as well. Your arguments convinced me, especially when you brought up anxiety and anger. I recently started going to therapy and one of the issues I'm dealing with is anxiety and even hopelessness. Twitter has just amplified these problems, I've been thinking about deleting my account for some time, but this vid has given me the final push I need.
Thank you and God bless.
I left Twitter after the 2020 election because i saw that it became a communist tool to further the liberal's agendas. Facebook, Instagram and even YouTube censor things they don't agree with like anti- abortion., etc.
You're probably using twitter wrong if you haven't already been banned
Love this, thank you Matt for saying the things that need to be said!
Nothing is free. The other platform you mentioned that costs money can pay for the services you use with that money. But if you aren't paying for a product/service, then you are the product/service.
I've never liked the twit. It doesn't promote meaningful thoughts, since posts are so short. The only reason I have an account is to have access to things on rare occasions.
Something else one could consider is that if we wanted to reach someone in a casino that is addicted to slot machines, should we make a slot machine that incorporates some elements of the faith so maybe they can learn about the faith? Sometimes it's just better to reach people in other ways, like in person instead of using the twit, or in person when someone isn't at the casino.
Love how Jackie described how Social media ignites certain sins or negative feelings… instagram gets you envious… Twitter anger… facebook, didnt got there hehe. But is true.
I first created a Twitter account in 2007 and haven't used it or tweeted since some time in 2008, "Look upon my works and Despair!" Kidding obviously, but I've never regretted my reluctance to use pretty much any social media.
Don't deactivate, delete!
I don't even want to subscribe to Twitter. Unless Elon really buys it.
I deleted Facebook a year and a half ago, deleted Instagram 3 years ago, stopped watching the news as of Ash Wednesday 2022, never had Twitter, TG. Best things I ever did. It's all poison. Pick up the phone and call a friend, talk to strangers on the street, find creative outlets that feed you and make the world a better place. Trust me, you'll never change anyone on the internet and the hatred will go on just fine without you.
Twitter is one of the most toxic places on planet earth! Instagram, TikTok, and facebook comes in close second.
Nope! Made too many good friends from Twitter and it's how I keep in touch with the Daily Wire hosts :) And it will be interesting to see what effect Elon's takeover has on it.
matt should sell the aquinas style article on a plackard/ laminated sheet that could be hung in a room or sacristy LOL
Thou shall not slam dunk
