Basically people on xbox found a glitch to buy v-bucks but they were able to refund their money and keep the V-bucks. They would then go on a spending spree and gift people like crazy.
Epic found out and traced all these purchases, forcefully pulling them back. Even if you didn't do it yourself, if you had more than 6 refunds on your xbox in the last month, you could get flagged and if you are, will or did lose cosmetics.
