  1. If I look at the incident from DMs point of view.. then I feel that he was commenting on the overall appearance of the headmaster.
He infact points out that the headmaster is dull, sitting there and is not aware of what to teach…

He wanted him to be attentive and more aware of himself… Like you said that DM is responsible to people.. if the parents saw the headmaster in such position I am sure that they would have said the same as well.. that if you want to just sit here then be a politician and not a teacher

  2. its so sad of public why this IAS officer was so rude see quality of education see weather students get proper education sanitation etc he shouted at that principal so sad

  3. Even in the schools run by RSS, teachers wear kurta pyajama, and kurta pyjama looks very elegant and also present our Indian culture, situation would be worse if he wears distress jeans, funky shorts or shirt.

  4. Sir, regarding the Bihar professor incident, later on he had apologized as the cheque of 24 lakhs he had given, in that account only 800 rupees was found..He had done that for media attention may be ..

  5. i may be wrong over here so as the headmaster he is not attending any classes to teach first thing n as the civil servant he has the right to check the quality of the education not the dress code of the teachers at the school premises… the way he was talking to the teacher was wrong our ethics do not teach us to talk like that..civil servants are known to bridge the gap between the people n govt not to create the gap..

  6. Ah! That is how it should be! as all women in India sticked to sarees even after colonization, men must have sticked to dhoti, but that didn't happen they followed British's pants and shirts, suits etc. He should actually appreciate that teacher.

  7. This restaurant incidence shows that how still after so many year Britisher left ,the prejudices and belief established by them still there….Our traditional atttire is a reflection of our culture and civilisation . Whoever feel, being traditional is primitive and is not a symbol of being smartness … So our government should close such so called smart restaurant and give an opportunity to go out do business somewhere else……….

overall cloth does not makes you smart ,intelligence or any gentleman but your behavior and attitude does…. Although your attire makes a good first impression but it does not signify wearing a traditional outfit means your are not smart….

As far as the teacher attire .. i guess, okk you must have proper dress code definitely but the a government school is a place where other problem and conecrn should have given more importance than attire….First bring quality in education, proper discipline in taking class, poor drinking water ,toilet, and poor amenities in class…..
…Dress code is not prime concern presently in government school but poor quality education is definitely…..

  8. Sir, it not just about dresses that we wear in India, Hindi say for example or any other mother tongue language that we speak is also under great threat, the people who speak in their mother tongue, they are being judged as illiterate mostly discarded in society….." ye ek mukhauta hai sahab….jaha jhoot behroopiya ban sach se aankhe churata hai "

  9. I am pakistani but feeling sorry for this teacher. Shame on officer who is insulting teacher. Wearing kurta pyjama has no relation with teaching.
We got freedom from British by land but still our system is slave of British

  10. जाति न पूछो साधु की, पूछ लीजिये ज्ञान,
    मोल करो तरवार का, पड़ा रहन दो म्यान।

  11. Strictly condemned such peculiar behaviour of civil servants. Dresses like kurta pajama are ethnic wear how someone criticized that Infact here questions arise about this civil servants what about ethical values??……… Need to bring changes for such peculiar behaviour.

  12. If there is any specific mentions of a certain type of dresscode to be followed and the headmaster violated, then it's okay for the DM to warn him but not in the manner he did in front of everyone and using words like "chup" don't know what gave him the authority to shout at the teacher like that. A human is a human, one must not ever forget that. Second, if there is no mention of any specific "dresscode" then, there is nothing wrong with Kurta pyjama. Infact I have done my schooling from SSVM (Odisha) and the official dresscode of the teachers is white Kurta pyjama. If more incidents like this come to light, sadly our dressing culture is going to be murdered at the hands of these so called powerful babus.

  13. Dressing sense should not be measure of salary, teacher and teaching should be acknowledged. The colonial mindset drastically changed the cultural heritage of India.Actually the kurta and payjamas are Bihari dress not only wear by politician. Even the bureaucrats sometimes in judicial hearing not follow dress code.
The DM should be apologised for this conduct of insulting headmaster.

  14. They forget they are servant of civilians, they act arrogantly after taking responsibility. He could've scolded even gandhi ji for not wearing proper attire.

  15. no matter how much we develop or how modern we become we must be rooted in our tradition.
whats wrong in kurta and pajama?
this is traditional dress wore across our rural India.
    babudom must stop.

  16. I've recently come across to an online video of judicial proceedings where an IAS officer have been reprimanded by the high court for not following the dress code when he is appearing before the court. He came in formals but i dont understand what the high court judge meant by dress code for an IAS officer. Should that mean being an IAS officer he supposed to appear himself before the court wearing suit? I would like you to make a video and comment on this especially what a dress code mean for IAS officers when it is completely a non-uniform service.

  17. Colonial mindset sucks…
Scold him if he's not performing his teaching duties as expected but no need to focus on Indian attires like Kurta, Saree, Punjabi suit etc.
Btw female staff of the school must be wearing Saree or Punjabi suit only…will DM issue notices to them also ???

  18. Is it okay if the teacher wears a lawyer's dress in a school..??? What does it mean..?? Is that the rule that kurta n pajama is only for netas…?? Its utter nonsense that the fellow is ordering to stop the salary of that head master.. Is that the value of a teacher..?? And that man… Is that the value taught by his teachers…??? Shameful of a person who was supposed to be valuing the merits and values, is giving importance to the dress. A teacher must be valued for his knowledge not for dress. That person has to be dismissed from that post. He is not a bharatheeya who doesn't know that गुरु ब्रह्म गुरु विष्णु गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः|| On the Guru poornima day he has insulted the Gurus. I was also a Principal. I strongly urge that all the teachers and students have to stand by the Headmaster by supporting him and respecting him for his service and knowledge. This is Bharath not Britain. We must wear all our bharatheeya dresses everywhere and noone has the right to condemn and question us. Just if you see during the freedom period even lawyers use to wear dhothi and coat to the court. So this man's objection regarding dress and looks of a teacher is strongly condemned and unacceptable. Strict actions must be taken on that officer whoever it is.

  19. Every person has right to wear whatever he/she wants to, it's wrong use of power by the DM.
It's guru purnima today, is this how our gurus should be treated??

  20. india's father of nation Gandhi wore a short dhoti without a shirt when he went to England for the Round Table Conference in 1931 and in india itself indians not allow to wear Indian dress that shamefull He refused to compromise and wore it even before King George V at Buckingham Palace.
