The only method to deactivate a Samsung account from a phone without a password is to contact Samsung to locate and delete the account. If you wish to begin the procedure on your Samsung phone, follow the comprehensive instructions below.

  1. Unlock your phone, then launch the Samsung phone settings app from the app drawer.
  2. Scroll down until you see "Cloud and Accounts." Also, on the next page, select the "Accounts" tab.
  3. Then, from the choices, select "Samsung Accounts" and then "My profile." When prompted to enter your email address and password on the account screen, select "Forgot your ID and Password." A popup will appear on the screen; from there, select your preferred browser.
  4. A prompted browser prompts you to enter your ID and password, as well as your email address. After that, Samsung will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
  5. Return to your Samsung account settings and select "Remove Account" from the top-right menu bar.

  1. That was an absolute joke and completely worthless! If you really didn't know how to do it why the hell did you make a video on how to do it?Notice how there's only 2 apps for you to select from?!?!?! What about all the others?

  2. Clickbait! What's that, you say ? "Waaah! Waaaaah!!! This ISN'T clickbait!.." Well, sure it is. Look at the title. That is why we are came here. However, your video shows us all how to do what we already know how to do. Luckily, it only has 161,000 views. :)

  3. This is the 5th video that is absolutely useless to me. Same as the others. Literally common sense. Describes the basics. I have to disable too many crap apps, but they will still update themselves and use up my data. Most of which, I cannot shut off location or camera/photo permission on. Pretty dang annoying. Literally have to go out of my way now to plug it into a computer, download a special app, and permanently delete this BS….

  4. Always the same crap. Watch a video or read tutorial and they tell me to select something my Android phone does not even have! ( 'Biometrics and security' ) ( There is 'security' but the stuff he mentions next is not in there.

  5. Ermmm there's no listing such as Biometrics and security option. Under security – admin apps…it says no apps found…This video does not accurately represent All android device's

  6. Wow, HOWTECH! You posted this a year ago, and not one response to the various commenters asking for clarification of the less than complete instructions provided. Half a job with zero support?! How do you get subscribers?

  7. In the comments below ask what app to uninstall? Lets find out.
QIXLAR does not even show on device administrator… now what?
Would I get an answer to this ? I wouldn't hold my breath.

  8. HOWTECH, can you update your video? Things have changed. Your instructions don't work with my Samsung Galaxy A14. Like Erica Meltzer says below, there are no apps under Device Admin Apps. I swipe up like you show (you say "Pull up for precise seeking"), but no apps appear. Also, you speak of "slider", but I don't see a slider in your video. You speak of Revoke Administrator Privileges but I don't see that function in your video. I do see the Deactivate button in your video — but not on my phone. UPSHOT: I can follow your video as far as Device Admin Apps but can go no further.
