Actually, most mobs do leave you alone. At least when i play it, most wild animals leave me be. They threaten, but if you stop or crouch, they flee or tolerate you. But predators. But for those i just climb something like a tree and it usually works and they give up.
Minecraft is better.
I haven't played it but it definitely feels like it's a mixture of terraria and Minecraft seeing how it is going.
