Another method for FRP

I imagine that's a night and day difference in a ton of games. Sorta stable 45-50 FPS vs a much less jittery 58 to 60 is a lot. I like another car analogy myself, they just disengaged the parking break.
Drivers helped a little bit.

If you do the 3dmark extreme test it really shows better the sustained performance compared to others with huge scores at the beginning than lots of throttling after the initial 10 15 min.
