I forced my Pixel 9 to LTE only… because I work in a basement and can't get a reliable connection on 5G. For some reason it doesn't fall back on LTE quickly enough and just doesn't give up on 5G even if the but rate is unusable. Battery life also seams better on LTE.
When performing a speed test on a cellular network tests must not be performed in parallel as they fight for the same resources that can skew the results in any direction. They should be done sequentially with multiplicative iterations that are averaged together. Phones should be on the same exact rate plans at the same company. It is understood they were all in T-Mobile but each rate plan and/or mvno will have agreements related to how capacity is handled. Do the the wavelength and angles of arrival you may want to also rotate the devices through the same location for the same test. The size of the phone can impacts its reception because the antenna spacing with in the device. Looking at the Samsung 5400 web site it does not mention AI where the Qualcomm x80 does. If AI is used for rf it would be in the modem level. There are performance tricks related to hand off and how it handles network parameters that can be done outside the modem but it does not change rsrp or how aggregation works in the modem.
Hahaha, the test is not a reliable one. If you test it more than once you keep getting different results but I can understand that you are leaning towards the P10
THAT'S UR SPEEDS? ON UR "ADVANCED" NETWORK?? I get 650-800Mbps down and around 500 up in freaking Eastern Europe. :D Also, you're paying for 3 gigabits, not gigabytes. <3
