well stupid kids are complaining about child preds so they added this to protect kids from predators, and games they are too young for. but then the kids lie about their age (one of my friends used her mums id) and then complain that preds are messaging them. they got hate for preds, fixed the issue, then got complaints again, and they will not remove this. (if i were in charge, i would shut down roblox tbf, if people are going to complain about features i added because of complaints, they dont get fuck all)
The only way this will happen if they pull service out of the UK, Australia, and some us states If im correct.
I really hope they remove the age check update, because most people can't talk to there friends because of the update.

Age check is the least of their worries. If their stupid ai moderation keeps banning thousands and thousands of innocent accounts and then not even doing anything abt it, especially after the 1 month mark then it’s over

People dont seem to understand that the age check update is NOT roblox's fault. In june of last year a new coppa revision passed which made it obligatory for any platform that houses both 13- and 13+ users to collect user data and check age for protection of the 13- public. The last day where this could be applied before coppa sued the non-conforming platforms was April 22nd, 2026, which means after that day effectively all hope is lost unless coppa updates again.
and the company running the age verification data was not deleting the images and shit
theyre doing this to keep the platform on most countries which is slowly not working
