I always ask questions before believing these things. So this obviously isn’t a wide spread everyone issue so why are only certain people getting this bug?
If you go to the ps5 Reddit there is literally no one talking about this and if something this widespread were going on they would have a thread up discussing and trying to help. I’m just going to say this is either a straight up lie or at best it’s someone having one issue. If not I need to see screens of this or video or it didn’t happen.
A) it's a bug, not a feature… sucks but they're not saying they did it on purpose
B) every single thing you buy from PSN, even free PS+ games for $0.00… they email you a receipt

Whoever the hacker was probably did the retail boxed game business a huge favour. Thumbs up to the hacker. I am a huge supporter of consumers truly owning games not having a license to access games. With the exception of Good Old Games the digital game stores don't treat you as an owner of the game. They can for whatever reason they wish delete your account, fake a bug, or just go belly up from mismanagmeent and there goes your library! Wake the F up, people. Buy and OWN the game like the old days. Stop putting all your eggs in one basket.
Tha problem is that disk only give you license if they ever close the store it doesn't matter if you have the disk

I don't do Digital Games i buy the games on disc
It's digital tv shows and movies they dont have the license for anymore. Not games
You have to play the game to win. I buy the games I LIKE and want to buy. Not every game available on the console. I buy digital when I buy a limited or collectors edition because of resale. I wait to those digital games go on sale 50% or lower. Seeing I’m not pressed to play them because I work for a living and don’t have the time. But will get to them someday.

Only places they can go switch or Xbox so far only thing as far I know they can hang onto which Xbox wants is marvel games because only advantage they have over them.

Physical media means nothing see if your Crew disc still works after March 31 most games now use online server so Ubisoft deactivates the server game disc is a frisbee
All PS3 game updates are also missing, having to go through each disc to update. Physical media isnt immune.

A friend of mine had the same issue. All his PS5 games gone from his account. He's currently contacting Sony.
He had over 1000 digital games
U still cannot play physical games without internet(newer select titles) the full game is not on the disc

There is only license on disc, not actual games…so if they remove the server the game is on. U still can't access the game.
There is no physical copy, it will stop to excist, you get an empty case with a product key that you can use to download the game :-).
