FRP自作を考えて結構経ちましたがなんかやる勇気が出ました。
最初に貼ったのを型にして一般的な方法で作っても良かったのでは？

とてもキレイに出来上がってると思いますけど！？
クロス一枚モノでフェンダーのような曲率が入り混じってる形だと絶対浮くので対策として
・樹脂塗る前にクロスを仮合わせしてみて切り込みを入れるor切り分けて重ねる
・クロスの前のガラスマットの枚数を増やしてクロスがなじみやすいようにする
・樹脂をジャバジャバにする
等がありますが、軽量化目的なら投稿者様のやり方が一番良いと思います！
コレ、雌型じゃ無いと失敗しますよ。
フェンダーに離型剤ぬり、紙粘土や石膏で型取り、型がボコボコならパテ修整
その後、透明ノンパラ樹脂で1層目でカーボンクロス、ガラスクロスで積層、ローラーで気泡を抜き硬化したら、型から外し、透明インパラ樹脂でトップコートしたら、ウエットカーボン(軽さも強度もFRP)が出来ます
樹脂を透明熱硬化樹脂に変えて、硬化前に布団圧縮袋に入れて吸引し、湯煎などで熱を加えて硬化させるとドライカーボンになります
また、カーボンマットをケブラマットに置き換えるとシルバーカーボン(ホワイトカーボン)になります

今回作ったフェンダーを型にして、もう一回作れば綺麗なのが作れるかも。
１層目のガラスクロスの時点で浮いてましたね
下樹脂を塗ってからガラスクロスを張り合わせるように乗せ、浮きそうな部分が無いのを確認してから樹脂を塗り始めると良いです
樹脂を塗って脱泡する際に、窪み部分が何度も浮いてしまうのはガラスがつっぱってしまっているからです（クロスは伸縮性低いので伸ばし過ぎはアウト）
そうなってしまった場合、1番上の層で無いなら、浮いてしまっている部分にハサミを入れて形状にピッタリ合わせるようにしましょう
マスターから反転しないとダメよw
それが面倒なら12k使えばカーボン目はサンディングしても残るかもねw
修正はUVクリアパテ使うのも忘れてはいけないよ頑張って！
