Yeah these Gatcha games are total BS, especially when they try to add faction/community elements. Nothing in these games are real, so why pretend by roleplaying communities??? I played WoW as a teenager and spent 10k-15k hours worth of my youth on gameplay + focused time on the game/guild activities + guild drama.
From experience, i'd recommend avoiding games entirely for a while. Now I mainly stick to to single player story driven experiences with a beginning, and a conclusion….. none of that gatcha BS where you keep spinning a digital slot machine for items and get hooked more and more.

Gave up my account a few weeks back as well, I wasn't a coiner but worse, I spent ALL my time during a period of my life I should have focused on something much more important and it cost me badly… I'm not going to lie, I liked it because there were many great people I met for whom I stayed but when leaving, I realised no one mattered like the people in my real life. I'm still paying for my mistake but I've come to live in the real world now, and learnt a big lesson. I hope nothing but the best in real life for you man, it took alot of courage because it must have cost you alot. I don't wish everyone should leave the game because it makes many people happy to play it, but i wish no one should avoid the real world to play this game. Also I have no idea why YouTube still recommends me evony videos when I've literally unsubscribed all of them T_T
im playing the game because i enjoy it it is second to real life for me, have spent money also not that much and probably wont be that much but i dont drink or do drugs and pay all my bills so i choose to spend on here occasionally i dont see a problem with that.
I just quit Evony 3 days ago, still in post gaming depression, but thank you for put another push to strengthen my decision.
