  1. This is problematic. The issue was taken to a different level. It needs sensitisation and removing the ignorance in differentiating between privilege and needs by anyone in authority. People at a authoritative level act as a filter. Be a good one.

  2. this happens due to reservation when idiots sit in higher posts and people who are more hardworker and best suited lose the job just due to inequality in cuttoff

  3. I believe that officers at responsible positions must be sensitised with the issues in the society rather than merely enjoying the power and privilege they hold in.EI of an officer is equally important to IQ.

  4. If the officer is defending the cost of sanitary pad, what if poors demand free STI testing, because harse reality is that most lower middle class couples don't priorities their sexual health over their basic daily needs of life and many more . This is mostly the attitude of officers in general, even they don't interact with common youths

  5. in my view , the officer is correct but her tone should be gentle towards people and at least they should think about what they are going to talk.

  6. Corrupt IAS officers spotted .As far as condoms is concerns govt is also providing in free in govt hospital then why not sanitary pad . This officers don't have moral , ethics to serve in that post . She must apologize to students .

  7. I think govt should take action against DM because she demoralized students. They were asking for their rights and we also saw many government distributed santry pad at free of cost.
This encident happened due to lack of personal training of ias candidates . Govt should start subject that tell about how to interact with people and listen their problems and slove them.

  8. Ias must have not read state's duty towards citizens. Govt on discretion can do that, there are many things which govt. Can do and should do. If the govt keep learning from history and current situation then there will be many more things that govt will find that they need to fix it before it's too late! More over IAS officer is totally wrong, all the way wrong argument, firstly you can't decide that all the financially stable and can have everything, slowly only the change will come so be the part of change and help others.

  9. I really like how sir is keeping a balance by telling two stories. That's the highlight for me. True journalism is when the whole truth comes out as truth and i can say that you stand by that. I love your perspective. Thank you for the content. Love from Haryana.❤️

  10. There is freedom of speech and expression guaranteed to every citizen of India. So, it was a valid question which a student ask from an IAS officer.

Despite the fact, there are various constitutional provisions provided by the founding fathers who didn't wait for any amendments. They placed a proviso in the article 15 stating that the state shall make reservation for the upliftment of children and women, and even by doing this if it would lead to discrimination, it will not be considered as discrimination. This was mainly done with a view to provide women a level playing field with regards to men.

Indian state is entrusted with the goal of a secular and welfare state. State runs various welfare schemes to eradicate poverty, literacy, provide employment opportunities, so on and so forth.

In the first stance, an IAS officer who is talking to a school-going girl simply connotes that there needs to be some sort of reforms in Civil Servants Act. Few suggestions would be:-
    1. A training should be provided to an elderly IAS officers who is in service for more than 10 years.
    2. There isn't a dichotomy between the IAS officers and the society, so they should be proper accountable to what they speak.
    3. There could be a possible ramification as to the mental health of the child with whom the officer is speaking. So, a proper arrangements should be made with a child specialist who would articulate the relationship that should be in place which would be more of empathy than sympathy, alike in the second instance.
    4. Providing subsidies, distributing freebies; are welfare schemes which every government does. One of those welfare scheme might be distributing pads for the school going girls.
    5. A centrally sponsored schemes might be introduced for maintaining the hygiene of the girl child in school. Because there are lot of cases of drop outs in the rural areas due to health and hygiene constraints.

"To call woman the weaker sex is a libel; it is a man's injustice to woman. If by strength it is meant moral power then woman is immeasurably man's superior."
    Said by Mahatma Gandhi.

Note:- Most of you might disagree with what all I have mentioned, but this is my thought process. And I am open for healthy evaluation and critic.
    Thank you.
