The only method to deactivate a Samsung account from a phone without a password is to contact Samsung to locate and delete the account. If you wish to begin the procedure on your Samsung phone, follow the comprehensive instructions below.
- Unlock your phone, then launch the Samsung phone settings app from the app drawer.
- Scroll down until you see "Cloud and Accounts." Also, on the next page, select the "Accounts" tab.
- Then, from the choices, select "Samsung Accounts" and then "My profile." When prompted to enter your email address and password on the account screen, select "Forgot your ID and Password." A popup will appear on the screen; from there, select your preferred browser.
- A prompted browser prompts you to enter your ID and password, as well as your email address. After that, Samsung will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
- Return to your Samsung account settings and select "Remove Account" from the top-right menu bar.

For all those who messed up at the part where you put the code in your headset to pair it. If you couldn't do it and don't know how to connect your quest 2 to your new meta account, …Just follow these steps…
1. Go to this link : http://www.meta.com/setup
2. It will say you already have a meta account. if not then just login using your meta account email and password. Click see account details.
3. Once inside the meta website, click "password and security option"
4. Now click, "Edit" where it says manage where you're logged in.
5. Click "Log out" in front of your oculus quest device.
6. Now reboot your headset.
7. Connect headset with the internet/wifi.
8. Click on account setting button.
9. A popup window will automatically open with a CODE.
10. Keep wearing your headset don't remove it. At the same time, go to "http://www.meta.com/devices" on your desktop.
11. Enter the code that you see in your quest 2 headset in the code field on the website.
12. On the website, click on connect device.
13. BOOM, DONE. Now your headset is connected to your new meta account.
For any one who has issues opening store in meta quest 2 after converting to new meta accounts….Follow the steps below.
1. Close oculus app on your phone.
2. Reboot your quest 2 headset.
3. Open wifi setting in quest 2 headset and click on forget wifi option.
4. Connect again to wifi with the password.
5. Connect the oculus link cable/or any cheap vr link cable (if you don't have oculus link cable) to your headset.
6. Now try to open the "Store" app, Hopefully the problem will be solved.
I wanna keep all my saves but that email that my Facebook is connected to I don't normally use I want to keep it keep my saves and use my other email how do I do that??

Question, I setup a Meta account while using my Oculus Rift on my PC. Now when I try to use my Quest 2, it wants me to create a new Meta account. Is there a way to log into the Meta account I already created on my Quest 2. I'm now unable to use my Quest 2.

The code used to connect your headset will time out if you take too long. You’ll need to log in to your account again and generate a new code.

When I set up my meta account, I clicked continue with oculus instead of continue with my Facebook account and now I fear once January 1st comes around, my apps will be wiped away. I didn't realize you had to continue with Facebook until I watched the video
For some reason it does show me the without face book option any help ?
I was at work last night, opened the app to see if my son was playing and they prompted me to set up this new shit, so I did, continued down the Facebook path now my son can't play online because where it says "use this code to connect headset" or "generate device code" an error occurs and I never get a code. I hate this shit.

Great tutorial. I'll probably leave Facebook connected to make it easier for those friends to find me. I don't friend random people, so I don't see the need to disconnect completely. I also wouldn't be surprised if they're still tracking users in the same ways they have been, but it's a bit more anonymous since it's not connected to Facebook by default. I like that getting banned on Facebook will no longer lock you out of your Oculus games, but otherwise I don't see a point to doing this. Now that the accounts are separated, will those who were locked out of their games be able to access them again? I'm guessing no but they should be able to.
If you switch to the Meta account can you still cast or stream to FB during gameplay?
Do you know if referrals still work if you only have a Meta account?

Yeah don’t really change nothing for me account is private so even if people find my account they’d need to add me cool I guess for people not wanting to use Facebook tho so that’s understandable
