When you take the back plate off, don't you need to replace the adheasive in order to retain the waterproofing of the phone?
unfortunately for me this didn't work for me, I was using the wire tool trying to remove the glass plate when suddenly de digitazer broke, the sceen went blank on the most part, and the part wich was still vissible was mostly green and lines. I'm sure I did something wrong and I would like to know what it is. did I not apply enough heat or was I just trying to hard or was it just bad luck?
Yo screw this the chance of making a mistake is way too high I would rather replace the entire screen it's way easier but if you are on a budget and don't care if you break anything I say go for it

I just cracked my front screen and it still works but the screen glitches. Is it worth repairing myself? and alot of the videos I've checked on youtube opens the entire thing up to repair it. Will I have to do that? Your video just shows the front.

This is really a tricky work. Given mine to a service for 150 Bucks.
I have been able to remove the old glass. Display is ok but touch screen only works when you hold the phone with your hand or you touch the phone body.
On non conductive places the touch wont work.
Seems like is missing some ground stuff. Is it normal and will work as always with the new glass and glue or I damaged it somehow?

With this one, removing the front facing camera, on the s10 and up, what do you do afterwards? I'm assuming some of the glue seeps into the camera lens area. I'm guessing you need to clean that cured glue out afterwards, correct? What is the best method to do that?

Please do the Samsung S22 Ultra. I cracked it's front glass. Nobody here wants to replace just the front glass, everyone wants to replace the digitzer+battery pack which costs over $330. Authorized dealer shops ask for $500 for the replacement.
