Awesome guide! Hard resetting it again fixed the update issue you mentioned in the video. What happens if you factory reset it after you bypass the FRP?
ahhhh man I can't thank you enough, what a relief. after going through like 15 different videos I couldn't get past the step where you get into youtube because I couldn't skip the update request, but you actually advised doing a hard reset and that worked! I was so excited to actually be able to go through this process and get my fiance's Moto E5 Cruise working again, since she couldn't remember her original google password and now we were able to get it set up with a new gmail.
