Another method for FRP
The only method to deactivate a Samsung account from a phone without a password is to contact Samsung to locate and delete the account. If you wish to begin the procedure on your Samsung phone, follow the comprehensive instructions below.
- Unlock your phone, then launch the Samsung phone settings app from the app drawer.

I think metal gear solid 2 had this problem at some point. There was some stock footage used in one of the cutscenes at the end of the game talking about society or something that Konami lost the rights to and it had to be changed for the ps5 and pc release. I’m probably misremembering a lot of specifics though lol
If buying a game isn't owning it
Then pirating a game isn't stealing it
The thing is that they aren't sold as licenses, they're sold as full working games
do you really want these companies keeping dead games alive because you paid them $60 12 years ago?
If you bought something, and then the seller of that thing just takes it back without your consent, they should at least give your money back.
Only way people will take this more seriously is if some of their favorite games get taken away from them.
There are no laws in place to prevent this clearly. All we can do is keep watch over this.
The only game thats slightly interested me from Ubisoft over the years is Rayman. Thats it. Everything else has seemed like a safe repeat or reskin of another game. Assassin’s Creed has become the Call of Duty of third person games, the Crew feels like Forza Horizon, Far Cry has become predictable and has degraded in quality etc.
