I don't know if you will see this, but you may be able to handle the last fight a bit easier. I saw a person in a video where they were shooting the flares at the phantom CatNaps sometimes making them disapear cause the flares reveal if they are real or fake, having you not have to go through the power up of the smoke.

In my theory I think the reason why that Catnap, huggy, mommy and the other won't just eat the mc because they want to toy us back like we toy them.
